This family. They are one of my most loyal, supportive, original Sara Moon Photography families. Chastiti, Tony, Presley, Payne and now baby Barrett. Each one of them is gorgeous and striking and well, like family to me.

Brand new cousins…Barrett and Cullen.

Will, Ryan & Katy – so honored to have captured your happy morning together. I have often watched Katy from afar (at our Kindermusik class) handle her two boys with grace and ease. Unlike me, who usually flies in the door at the last minute and is battling and wrangling my two littles. She is just as calm, cool, and collected at home as she is in class. Beautiful mom, handsome, happy, energetic boys. Makes for wonderful images. Enjoy!

Aiden could be my muse I think. He rocks…and is growing up so fast and to be such a little heartbreaker! Little Emma is a doll. No big brother pushes her around. She’s tough. Thank you, Kelly & Charlie, for always being so supportive of my little photography business!
(aiden and emma have the COOLEST playroom. so jealous! i want it for myself my girls.)

Well. Ahem. Seems so much has happened since last I wrote. Here’s the deal. Lily’s birthday was a pretty rotten day. She threw the kind of tantrum where she ripped my shirt while screaming at the top of her little lungs for what seemed like forever. To add to her emotional meltdowns (which have skyrocketed in the last month or so) we’re in the midst of potty training and I am stumped. Gently guide her, forcefully guide her (I know this is a no-no, but man it’s hard not to), or give up? PLUS, Sweet Natalie fell off my bed on this same rotten day while I’m trying to work in between naps. So basically I was feeling like a Grade A failure for so many reasons. So so many reasons. I’m generally in a bad mood all the time. I’m trying to juggle everything (like all of you) yet I seem to have such a short fuse these days. So, I’ve decided to REALLY, really let things go. I always try to remind myself how very lucky I am for so many incredible reasons. Not the least of which is my amazing Lily. Challenging, stubborn, emotional, observant, smart, strong-willed, still such a baby, Lily. Here are some of her on her big day (that got better by the end.) I’m blaming the quality of these pics (not good!) on the fact that “it was a bad, bad day.”
Her favorite part of any day. Cake. Chocolate, please.
This is how her attitude was for most of the day. Only multiply it by 40 bajillion.
Maybe my favorite picture ever of her below…
The happy fam. Do I look good or what? I was sooo done at this point.
Anyway, I’m trying to be the new and improved and more relaxed Sara…wish me luck!

Here is a sampling of a beautiful little family I worked with a few weeks ago. Mike and Charlie are certainly adorable, but isn’t Jenn, the mom, HOT??? I know Mike is completely smitten with her, as is little Charlie. Sidenote: I often marvel at little boys who have incredibly beautiful mothers. I wonder how they will ever get past that incredible love for her, and her incredible beauty when seeking their own life partner. I have a wonderful friend named Shelly (hi Shelly!!) who is also mega gorgeous. When her little boys look at her you know they are just in awe and it’s beautiful to watch.
On to the pics…
