Here is our family holiday card…I need to hire myself to take professional photos of my family. This is the self-timer deluxe on our big “snow day”.

I love these images more for the scarf than for Lily Bean. But don’t tell her that. She’s pretty darn full of herself  cute, too. Hat is from here. Scarf is from here. Penny (the new doggie) has since eaten the poof off the top of the hat. It’s still cute.

Just wanted to say hello with a cute pic of my littlest one.

I’m all caught up with recent sessions so thought I’d post THE picture that kicked off my photography business. I took this of Lily in our first official “photo session” and I loved this picture so much I thought, “I can do this, dammit.” It was the type of memory I wanted to capture; her big expressive eyes, holding tight to her Gigi, sort of angry at me, a strange angle, and just as candid as can be.

That was a most unpleasant week. Can I get an Amen? All of my faithful blog readers, please check in with a comment to let me know you’re alright! And to all of those in the area with any kind of Ike devastation…I am so very sorry.

She cut her first tooth yesterday I want to freeze time. She is so smushely and wonderful right now. I know it keeps getting better, but I have serious baby fever. I’m thinking I want 10 more just.like.her.
