I wish I knew how to do the editing technique (second pic down below) correctly a la the image is found, but alas, I don’t. If anyone out there can give me a tip or two, let me know! Otherwise, this is the best I could do and I still love it.
Can’t believe how many great comments I got on the wedding pix redux post! Thanks everyone! Tracy and Jesse were awesome and fun and just as wonderful as they look.
Now, who wants to be my next victims???? I would LOVE to redo your wedding pictures for you! Call me

Looking to try out some new ideas? I am! Will you join me?
Are you (or someone you know):
- Expecting a baby in the next month or two and willing to let me photograph your newborn in the first 7 days of life? You must be laid back and okay with me contorting your baby into various cute positions.
- The mother of a precocious, outgoing daughter (between the ages of 8 and 12) who would let me take oodles and oodles of pictures in various outfits and various locations?
- A couple who hated their wedding portraits and would like to REDO them in my vision and style?
- The mother of an outgoing and fun high school soon-to-be junior or soon-to-be senior girl?
- A couple together more than ten years who would love to have a custom session of photography celebrating the two of you – without the kiddos!
- Pregnant and due in the next 3 months and willing to do some outside-of-the-box photos?
If any of these describe you, please contact me at saramoonphotography@gmail.com You will get a disk with at least 20 edited images. The session is free! But you’ve got to be fun and willing to play!

Here is our family holiday card…I need to hire myself to take professional photos of my family. This is the self-timer deluxe on our big “snow day”.
Anyway, have a wonderful time with friends and family and be so thankful that you are all together. No stress, no worries, just enjoy every moment you have together and make them all count. See you in 2009!

Great article on turning your child into a photograper
It has camera suggestions, yay! I am definitely getting Lily a camera for Christmas. She is always wanting to use my “D” and that puppy is too ’spensive for her to mess with. She turns all sort of objects into cameras and tells me to “smile” and then shows me the “LCD” and asks me “Do you like the picture, Mommy?” Well of course I do!

Y’all know how I’m always posting about Dakota Rescue, right? Well, I got one of their emails about a red dog named Penny that loved kids, was well behaved, and would love a forever home.
She found one!
Meet East Texas Coon Hound – Miss Penny Moon. We love her. If you have the means to help a dog (or cat), I say you owe it to them to do so. There are so many that need good homes. Don’t get me started. Sniff.
