My second time to work with this family was just as fun as the first. Last time (go take a peek)……we had tutus, baby Charlotte, beautiful Kinsey, donuts with sprinkles, stunning mom and dad. Well, you know the saying the more things change…this session we had more tutus, toddler Charlotte, even more beautiful and grown up Kinsey, tea party cookies with sprinkles, and again the stunning mom and dad. Josh gets a big thank you for giving Nikki the session as a Mother’s Day gift. So nice!

This was such a unique session. Jennifer called and wanted a very special family portrait to capture three generations of family. Love and laughter all around. Each person had a unique bond with the next. Just a complete joy to be around them. Thank you, E family!

Oh, Allie, you could be my muse. Took me a little while to find my groove with this little girlie, but once we got it going, I could have stayed all night and just watched her take in life. Allie has more expressions than you can shake a stick at; each one cuter than the next. At the very end we found two squirrels who were very much in love
, if ya catch my drift, and they provided the entertainment behind some of the best shots of the day.
Anytime you EVER want me back, I will come running Josh and Jill. Your Allie is a star in the making.

This is gorgeous Max and his stunningly good looking parents. This was a dream shoot. I got to do urban, in the Heights!, and this incredibly nice family was so open to trying anything. I love shooting new places (although the Heights isn’t new to me, actually, I used to live on Heights Blvd!) Anhoo, loved this whole session. Thanks for having me, Stephens family!

This is cute as a button Autumn and the handsome men in her life. Such a happy, colorful, fun family. This session actually took place at Autumn’s parent’s house and man, oh, man do they have style. The art and decor they have collected is eclectic and FABULOUS.
On to the pics!

Wow. Just wow. This family is quite something. Dad is stationed at Ft. Hood and flies Black Hawk helicopters in Iraq. He was home on leave and I was privileged to spend a beautiful spring morning in downtown Houston playing and photographing Betty, Jason and their four very energetic kiddos! This is Jason’s third tour in Iraq. THIRD. I can barely handle two kids with a husband who is here every night. I complain when he comes home a little later than ususual on a given day. Sheesh. I need to get my noggin on straight. Betty is as much as a hero as Jason…and Jason is definitely a hero. He was shot down in Iraq once. Imagine. (He also met someone really creepy over there. Came face to face with him. I’ll leave that person to your imagination.) I made sure to let this family know how much I appreciate all that they are sacraficing for our country. Truly a wonderful family.

For the following pictures, I told everyone to hug and squeeze their dad with all their love so that when he looks at the picture while he is away, he can feel them all by his side.

Returning favorites…you might remember Jennifer and Colin from last year. REMEMBER that I lost ALL their files from our first session????? OMG – it was awful. We redid the pictures of course, and they came out just as wonderful and thankfully, oh thankfully, Jennifer was as sweet and forgiving as she could be.
Well, she hired me again (yay!) for Colin’s two-year pictures and we had a blast at the 7 Acre Wood in Conroe! If you haven’t been there, you MUST go! I even took my own family after Jennifer introduced me to this very fun place!

Four shoots, four days in a row. Four wonderful families.
A specific post for each family coming soon! Also, I never show my favorites in a sneak peek…I show things I LOVE, but save my favorites for the big reveal.
Hope you like!
