::Better yet, getting off of Auto mode!
::The Holy Trinity of Photography (Shutter, Aperture, ISO)
::What makes a good picture, anyway? (the clothing, the surroundings, the     ”props”)
::Composition 101
::Lighting 101 (Turn OFF that flash for goodness sake!)
::Resources for your Photography needs (What to buy, what NOT to buy, where to learn more, etc.)
::Real models to practice on! Get ready for the fun stuff!

What will NOT be covered:
::Editing (I have another class for that! It’s a BIG can of worms, trust me.)
 
Date: Sunday, November 8, 2009
Location: Mason Road and Kingsland Blvd in Katy
Time: Tentatively 9a.m. – 2 p.m.
Provided: Drinks and snacks and me! (We’ll go next door to a bagel cafe for lunch)
What to bring: Your camera (charge the battery and bring memory cards!), your camera manual, paper, pens, a laptop (optional)
Cost: $150 per person

I am currently overwhelmed with model submissions for most of my categories! I’m going to have to come up with some sort of system to keep it fair and manageable…I wish I could select everyone who has submitted their names!

If you haven’t contacted me yet, it’s not too late. I have some ideas up my sleeve to make the selection process fair. There is one awesome category that is not that popular…yet. I don’t have many submissions for the “Redo of the Wedding Pics”. C’mon…how fun would that be?

Springtime Photo Session Special!
Book a mini-session at any location in the Spring/Woodlands/Conroe area from May 1- May 31 and receive a 30-minute photo session, at least 10 full-resolution digital files on CD, and two 8×10 prints, for a total cost of $400 – a savings of – a LOT! Even if you don’t live in this area, I will help you with locations in my neck of the woods. There are a lot of great ones!
