I hope you never get tired of me posting about Dakota Rescue. They are wonderful.

I heard Oprah once say that as long as she had a platform to reach others she would use it to try and do some good in the world. And if Oprah said it, it must be alright ;-)

Please take a moment of your day to vote for Dakota Rescue in Care2.com’s “A New Year of Hope for Animals” contest to help them win a grand prize of $10,000. Think of the homeless pets we could save with $10,000! But I need your help to get enough votes to help Dakota Rescue win. Please vote here: http://www.care2.com/animalsheltercontest/76325/?refer=12244.a4.1230227847.7079

Bingo needs you.

Here is our family holiday card…I need to hire myself to take professional photos of my family. This is the self-timer deluxe on our big “snow day”.

Anyway, have a wonderful time with friends and family and be so thankful that you are all together. No stress, no worries, just enjoy every moment you have together and make them all count. See you in 2009!

Batten down the hatches…this is a long one.

Britney and Erik had a beautiful wedding. I am honored to have captured their day. Really, when I think of the magnitude of the pictures I took – that they’ll be showing them to their kids, and their kids’ kids. Yikers. It’s kinda scary, but such an honor. Britney and Erik both have impeccable taste. Every detail was just right and simple and perfect. My favorite thing about their wedding, though, was the music for the ceremony. They took a playlist right out of my head and dreams and used it to paint their wedding. I was actually singing along as I took the pictures, and feeling the songs right down to my core. The right music just does that.

I think I will probably split this into two posts…because there are so many special pictures.

Congratulations Britney and Erik! You are a stunning couple. (I’m going to do one more post of just B & E and their Mr. and Mrs. images…some of my faves of just the 2 of them.)

Dakota
Everyone,

Meet Jasmine – She is being fostered at Pet Paradise Animal Resort. They support Dakota Rescue by provided us with spaces for our rescues while getting them vetted and placing in a forever home. They have taken in Jasmine and asked us to help in finding her a home. She is an American Bulldog mix. She is up to date on all of her shots and is already spayed. She is sweet, playful and full of love.

Will you consider giving Jasmine a permanent place to call home?

Meet Cohiba or Coco as he is called, is a Black Lab that is around 1-2 years old. He was rescued from the Humble Animal Shelter in September the day before being euthanized. Since being rescued, Coco has been microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and has filled out nicely. He now weighs 50lbs. He is a very playful dog, and is having a blast with his 3 foster sisters, but is looking for a permanent home.

Coco is house trained, crate trained, and rides well in the car even if not in a crate. He loves to play fetch and is a very loyal dog. He loves to be near his human fosters, even if it just means lying in the floor next to the recliner.

Will you consider giving Coco a permanent place to call home?

I love these images more for the scarf than for Lily Bean. But don’t tell her that. She’s pretty darn full of herself  cute, too. Hat is from here. Scarf is from here. Penny (the new doggie) has since eaten the poof off the top of the hat. It’s still cute.

Jani and Michael are two peas in a pod and I love that. Strong Mama, enamored, spirited son. She leads his Cub Scout Pack, they talk politics, they love their dog. Michael played guitar for me and those are some of my favorite shots. Oh, Michael is only in second grade I think, yet I SWEAR TO YOU he could pass for a 7th grader. Mature and handsome. It was such a pleasure, Jani!

Can I get married again and have it look JUST.LIKE.THIS? (the Iris and Travis post)

And, then…and then! Can I become Anna Kuperberg?
