Hi Readers!
I want to enter a photo contest. I need photos for the following categories:
Love, Connection, Fun, Hope, Creativity, Family
With all the free time on your hands (hahahahahahahahaaha) could you help me by picking out one of my photos that represents one of these categories? Heck, if you have more than one you could suggest that would be even more awesomer
Maybe you can think of one right off the bat? Maybe it’s one of YOUR family’s I took – maybe you’ve seen it and thought it was exceptionally good?
You can go through this blog, my website, my first blog, my second blog. Leave where to find the pic and what category it fits into in my comments or email me!
If ya have a minute, I’d appreciate it. Thanks y’all.

This is Stephanie and her beautiful family. I met Stephanie in college. We were roommates and she continues to be one of my two closest friends in the triumverate that is Sara-Steph-Clarissa. Stephanie and I had our second babies 4 days apart. How cool is that?
Steph, John, Macie, & Maris came to visit from Arlington the week before that rascal Ike. Our two families stayed in Galveston and now these pictures are so especially meaningful! We frolicked on and under the “mermaid pier” or Murdochs – one of my favorite places to take pictures. Now it is just a pile of rubble. Because I am an only child, Stephanie is like a sister; my chosen family. Her kids are cousins as far as I’m concerned, and John – like a brother.
Love this family!

I’ve pushed this before, but here is a great example: best friends. These photographers are a-maze-ing. Amazing.

Look at these beautiful children, wouldja?? And oh my goodness their mom and dad (hi Christi and Andy!) sent me the MOST WONDERFUL email yesterday – I never share these types of things, but I want all my clients to feel this way.
“WOW!!!!!!!! You did it once again – blew us away!!
I wish I could put into words how we view your pictures… it’s not just that they are SOOO crisp and glowing,etc.. It’s like you could touch them or they tell a story or they are surreal or in another realm or something – see I told you I can’t word it!!!! And, whatever I just said STILL does not capture what I mean… they are truly from somewhere over the rainbow! ; )
The 3 that come to mind right this second (that reflect to a “T” whatever the heck I am trying to convey) are the one of them walking away w/ him behind her in perfect cadence and he is just (perfectly) a little over to the left, so you can see them both. It is as if to say, “Okay, I am the little brother, I worship my sister and I always do whatever she does and I’d follow her anywhere!” oops – I’m crying!!
How in the world can one picture say all of that – LEAVE IT TO YOU!!!!!!!
Another is the one of her twirling and all you can see is the back of her and the sunlight BEAMING down on her golden hair – WHOA! That one speaks for itself. It’s like you could and want to jump in w/ her!
Also, the one of Kirby running to the GIANT tree and she looks so tiny compared. It is the coolest! The black and white effect makes it truly amazing, but that’s what you are – TRULY AMAZING!!!!!!
We have not stopped playing the slide show – the music rocks!! Andy cried and cried (and I have only seen him cry about 5 times in 11 years of marriage!)
Thanks Sara for that special day! You make us slow down and remember what life is ALL about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
